Assessment Criteria _________ (25 points) OBJECTIVE You have successfully shot and processed 3 rolls of black and white film with 36 exposures. You have successfully created 3 contact prints. You have created 2 high quality prints from each roll based upon previous darkroom knowledge. _________ (25 points) STUDIO SKILLS You have demonstrated knowledge of correctly loading, shooting, and processing photographic film. You have demonstrated knowledge of darkroom processes and procedures, (correct use of enlarger, filters, and photographic chemistry) in order to create your prints. _________ (25 points) DESIGN You have demonstrated an understanding of creating high-quality prints by ensuring that each print has a wide-range of value, and by selecting visually interesting negatives from your contact sheet, (in the form of a series, or as formally strong compositions). You have completed a self-assessment sheet that describes why you selected the images to print from your contact sheet. _________ (25 points) PRESENTATION You have demonstrated an understanding of proper care for all photographic materials, (prints are clear and clean of all scratches, dirt, and chemical stains). Your negatives and prints are representative of cautious, careful exposing and printing procedures. _________ (100 points) TOTAL
