Internship Journalist (F/M)

Unpaid internship for 9 months in Brussels, Belgium Job description: The candidate will support the Brussels team in all their tasks, and provide news as well as update and maintain databases, websites, and training materials and contribute to research activities. General Requirements: At least four years of successfully completed university education Capacity to work independently, good team spirit, sense of responsibility Excellent command of written English is required (English as first language preferred). The knowledge of Spanish is a strong asset. The knowledge of a third language would be an advantage. Excellent PC and Internet skills Good communication skills, both orally and in writing Specific requirements: Knowledge of the EU institutions is a strong asset Experience in working with European, academic and/or public administrative organisations preferred Preferably studying Journalism, Economics, International Relationships or European Studies Conditions of service: Internship is not remunerated. Weekend work and overtime may be required. There is expectancy of employment at the end of the internship.
