Here,

I1 = Input Current V1 = Input Voltage

I2 = Output Current V2 = Output Voltage

Fig. shows the two port network.


According to the network theory any twp port network can be

described by some parameters like H, Y, Z, and ABCD. H Parameter


Using the H parameter the Voltage and Current can be found out

using following equation. V H11 = 1 I2 H21

We can simplify this equation as bellow: V1 = H11 I1 + H12 V2 I2 = H21 I1 + H22 V2 .. (1) .. (2)

By doing open circuit and open circuit we can get the value of these

parameters. H11 = V1 / I1 - By Short Circuit so V2 = 0 put these value in Equ. 1.

H12 = V1 / V2 - By Open Circuit so I1 = 0 put these value in Equ. 2. And same as others. Y Parameter
Using the Y parameter the Current can be found out using following

Using the Z parameter the Voltage can be found out using following
