Week 4 is always a great week! The students have adapted to the routine and have woken from their summer slumber. Even though it was a short week, we packed In reading, our weekly theme was Forests of the World, and we looked at the skill comparing and contrasting. During our

novel studies, we compared and contrasted different characters of our books using cartoons on Edmodo. The students continued their study on expressing opinions in writing by talking about their favorite season. In grammar, we looked at combining sentences

by using conjunctions. In science, we created symbiosis stop-motion videos. In history, we made our own whiteboard lessons using an app called Educreation. The students completed their first Mystery Skype and wrote to their pen pals in Argentina. To end the
