1. What were your reasons for choosing nursing as your course and eventually your profession?

I believe that nursing is one of the most interesting, growing careers available today and it is a noble career. Its a career that allows me to help save peoples lives, bring cheer, and comfort to those in need. The nursing career is very gratifying and rewarding in terms of the joys it brings. And for the fact that my mother is a nurse, and seeing the satisfaction she feels every day by helping people in her job inspired my own interest in the field.

2. What do you think is/are your best qualities which make you an effective nurse?

Flexibility. Nursing is a time-demanding profession as medical emergencies can occur at any time. Nurses often have to extend their duty hours, work in overnight shifts, or work on weekends too. That is why I am flexible with my working hours and responsibilities.

3. Is there anything that you have/are sacrificing in order to fulfill your duty as a nurse? I guess my personal sacrifices. For example during holidays..the Christmas and new years day..or even birthdays..i cant be with my love ones because it is my duty and I have my responsibilities.
