Regular Full-Time Education Department

Director of Education
The Pueblo of Santa Ana is accepting applications for the position of Director of Education. The director will be responsible for accomplishing the departments objectives by planning, organizing, and managing all functions required to operate and maintain program activities. Ensures compliance with all tribal, federal, state, county, or other regulatory agencies laws, codes, or regulations as required. Responsible for preparing, presenting and administering the annual budget. The ideal candidate will possess thorough knowledge of Santa Ana Pueblo tradition, language, history and culture. Minimum Qualifications: Masters Degree in Education plus two years of senior management experience in education administration; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicant must be a US citizen, must successfully complete a background investigation, and must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico drivers license.
