Off Road Bikes Weve had reports of illegal bikes being used around the Oak Road Estate. We have recently seized and crushed a number of bikes but the problem persists. If you have any information about who may be using these bikes please contact us anonymously on 101 or my office number 01618569770 Anti Social Behaviour Barnes Hospital Historically the Barnes Hospital site in Cheadle has been a big problem for us for Anti Social Behaviour with us being called out almost daily in the summer months to the site to remove Youths from the unsafe building. The site has recently been taken over by a new security firm. We have held a meeting with the security team and lots of changes have been made to the site and it is now much more secure. Were pleased to report that this seems to have stopped the previous problems we had Partnership Work On 22nd August we conducted a joint anti social behaviour/graffiti patrol with officers from the British Transport Police. There have been a few incidents of graffiti in the Cheadle area. If you know who is responsible for the Graffiti in the Cheadle area please call crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. PCSO Brine and PC Nathaniel attended the Together Trust fun day with the fire crew from Turves Road fire station. The Children had a great day trying on our uniforms, exploring the fire engines and learning what we do in the community. OP Gotham Summer is almost over and the darker nights are fast approaching. We are therefore launching Operation Gothem again this year. Streets that may be potentially targeted by burglars will be identified by previous years data and leaflets and security advice will be delivered to them, We would like all Cheadle residents to be extra vigilant as the nights draw in and report any suspicious behaviour that you come across. Remember that burglars operate at all times and not just at night. When going out always leave a light on and keep valuables out of sight.
