5K Run, 5K Walk and 1K Kids' Fun Run Saturday, September 29, 2012 8:00 a.m. Ervin Park, Tuscola, Illinois
Event Can Do for Classrooms is proud to sponsor the 2012 Homecoming 5K Run/Walk to provide educational supplies, equipment, training and other needs of the Tuscola School District. Since 2010, Can Do for Classrooms has raised and invested over $42,000 in Tuscola classrooms. Early Registration
Online and mail-in registration for the 5K walk or run is $25 on or before September 15. After September 15 and on race day, registration is $30. Registration for the 1K fun run is $10 and after September 15 or on race day is $15. Tshirts are not guaranteed if registration is received after September 15. Medals are given for the top three finishers in each group & top three walkers. All kids will receive a participation ribbon. Race Day Registration Race day registration and check-in will be from 6:30-7:30 a.m. at the north pavilion in Ervin Park. The race will start and end near the pavilion. 5K Run/Walk will begin at 8am. The Kids 1K fun run will begin 10 minutes after the last race competitor finishes. Awards ceremony will follow the completion of both races. FREE INFLATABLES for kids 8am-10:30am!
