DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION FIELD: Bronze-aluminum-manganese coated electrode destined to the welding and recharging of bronze-aluminum alloys with high content of manganese, as for recharging on carbon steels and gray cast iron. Due to it great resistance to sea water, it is particularly suitable for the recharging of propellers and water pumps of ships, being also used in the chemical industry, where great chemical aggression associated to the erosion is verified. Due to it low attrition coefficient, it is also indicated for the recharging of shaft, dyes, etc. CHEMICAL ANALYSIS OF THE WELD METAL: Cu, Mn, Al, Ni, Fe MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF THE WELD METAL: Tensile strength [N/mm]: Elongation (1 = 5xd) (%) Hardness [ HB]: CURRENT ADJUSTMENT: Electrode[mm] CURRENT [A] 2.5 55 - 80 3.25 80 - 100 4.0 100 - 120 5.0 120 - 150 > 650 > 20 200

In crack-sensitive steels, preheat at 250-300 C, or use SLV 307 for the first pass and let it slowly cool after welding. The full hardness is then only obtained after 3 passes. With high-manganese steels, in order to keep base metal as cool as possible, use low amperage. Use dry electrodes only. Rebaking 2-3 hours at 250-300 C, is recommended.

In this case annealing is necessary, followed by quenching and subsequent one or two temperings of 30 min at 540-560 C.

DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION FIELD: Basic coated electrode destined to recharging where great resistance is demanded to extreme requests to the impact and the compression. Of high rentability (~130%), is especially suitable in works where are demanded the properties of the austenitic manganese steel of the type HADFIELD. Also suitable for the welding between carbon steels and manganese steels. It finds great application in the recovery of earth-moving machines, in the stone quarries, in mining equipment, sand treatment equipment, needles and rails, etc. With 14% of Mn, it possesses a structure totally austenitic. Due to also having nickel as alloy element, is quite resistant to cracking. CURRENT TYPE:DC (electrode positive) or AC WELDING INSTRUCTIONS: Use medium arc and electrode in the vertical. Maintain the piece the coldest possible, depositing small fillets and current lowest the possible. After depositing each fillet, cool down with a cloth soaked in water or with compressed air. The ideal will be to weld the piece partially submerged in water, in such a way that only the area to weld is out of the water.

Alloy on the base Ni-Cr-B-Si, of relatively weak hardness, for coverings of pieces specially subjected to detritions, rollerbearings, shafts rebounds, valve rods, etc.

9003
Alloy on the base Ni-Cr-B-Si, identical to alloy 9002, but harder.

9004
Bronze aluminium alloy, with an excellent attrition coefficient (dry or with lubrication), special for coverings of bearings, anti-friction sleeves, valve rods, liners, etc.

DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION FIELD: Pre covered plates. Characterised by the covering of several densities of great alloy of chromium carbides on a matrix of chromium iron. In spite of its great resistance to abrasion, it may be easily worked for: tubing, cones, spiral continued plates, etc. CHEMICAL ANALYSIS OF THE WELD METAL: Fe, Cr,C,Mn,Mo,Si MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF THE WELD METAL: Hardness (HRC) Hardness (HRC) Plate thickness 8 10 12 12 13 17 19 19 21 25 29 1st Pass Multipass 54 - 56 56 - 58 Bending radius Base 5 6 6 8 8 10 10 12 12 12 12 Coating 3 4 6 4 5 7 9 7 9 13 17 1500 2000 250 500 Internal coating 150 External coating 300

DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION FIELD: Pre-covered plate, characterised by the covering of several layers of strong alloy of chromium carbide that gives a versatile and durable protection in most of the areas in installations where we observe severe detritions, such as : Covering of storage silos, rail covering, covering of crushing machines, covering of mills, edge plates for lifting cylinders, fan blades, riddles, equipment for handling with dross, buckets, etc. CHEMICAL ANALYSIS OF THE WELD METAL: Fe, Cr,C,Mn,Mo,Si,B MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF THE WELD METAL: Hardness (HRC) Hardness (HRC) Plate thickness 1st Pass Multipass 58 - 62 60 - 66 Bending radius Base 5 6 6 8 8 10 10 12 12 12 12 16 16 16 Coating 3 4 6 4 5 7 9 7 9 13 17 7 9 13 1500 2000 250 500 Internal coating 150 External coating 300
