INTRODUCTION

Of late, the number of road accidents has been increased to an alarming level. It is embarrassing to know that India tops in this aspect. Some reasons for road accidents are: Not knowing or not adopting correct driving habits. Aggressive driving behaviour of heavy vehicle drivers especially private buses and tipper lorries. Use of mobile phones Over speeding Riders ignorance or violation of traffic rules Drunken drivers Most prominent reasons among them are drunken drivers, over speed and use of mobile phones while driving. As we all know that alcoholism is a bane to any civilized society, driving after drinking alcohol is a big danger. Excessive speed might thrill, but it can also kill. Use of mobile phones while driving has increased the number of road accidents Such multitasking may divert the attention of the drivers and cause dangerous consequences. Manual control of this cannot deliver beyond a certain limit. So we hereby present our project UNMANNED HIGHWAY PATROLLING SYSTEM, which can go a long way in curbing such hazardous habits.
