Remus, Michigan -- The Remus Area Historical Societys October 13th Fall Fest includes a Photography Show and Contest at J.W. Pizza - the eatery by the Post Office in Remus. The show will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 13. The photo contest rules are as follows: 1. Contest participants entering must own all rights to the photo. 2. There is a limit of 2 photos per person and a fee of $2.50 per photo to enter. 3. All entries need to be 5 x7 or larger. 4. All pictures with a person in it must have the permission of the person in the photo in writing and attached to the back of the photo. If the person is a minor a guardian may give permission. 5. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. 6. We have the right to disqualify any photo with an inappropriate subject. 7. You need not be present to win. 8. All photos entered need to be framed or matted, as we will be hanging them up. 9. All entries will be accepted on October 13, 2012 between the hours of 7:00 and 10:00 a.m. at J. W. PIZZA located at 298 Wheatland Avenue, Remus, Michigan. 10. Prizes will be given to 5 winners. One grand prize and a best of show will be chosen by a panel of judges. Three prizes will be chosen by public vote for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
