A FATHER and two sons who died in a tragic farming accident near Hillsborough were very close to each other in life, and that love was expressed in their final moments trying to help one another, their family said. Noel Spence, 52, and his two sons

Graham, 30, and Nevin, 22, died on Saturday in an accident involving a slurry tank on their family farm on the Drumlough Road. In a statement released last night, the Spence family circle said they are trying very hard to come to terms with their tragic loss. It continued: The three men were very close to each other in life and

that love was expressed in their final moments trying to help one another. The Rev Rodney Stout of Ballynahinch Baptist Church said: The family has taken some comfort from the three mens faith, absolutely. This is not a tragedy without hope...This life is not all there is to live for. We have a greater hope and this is a help to those that are grieving.

The men are survived by their wife and mother, Essie, and Laura, sister of Graham and Nevin. Another sister, Emma, was involved in the accident and is stable in hospital.
