Fall 2012 Marketing Internship with the Tacoma Dome The Marketing Intern for the Tacoma Dome

will assist in planning and executing event marketing functions at the Tacoma Dome. Projects for this position include assisting the Marketing Department with media and community relations, research and analyze projects, sponsorship, promotions coordination and implementation, group ticket sales, email campaigns, event operations, social networking and website maintenance, and database management. This is an unpaid internship and students must be attending school and earning internship credit. Candidates for this internship should be studying business or communications and have completed sophomore-level coursework. Students selected for this position must have organizational skills, be able to communicate and write effectively, have good analytical skills, ability to maintain discretion, be self-motivated, and have the ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media platforms is preferred. Intern must have transportation and have a flexible schedule with occasional work on night and weekends.
