It delineates the required tests, their purpose and schedule. a. This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task required as delineated in the contract. Requirements: 1. Format. The Reliability Development Growth Test (RDGT) Plan Procedures shall be presented in the Contractors format. 2. Content. The RDGT Procedures shall describe the Contractors overall reliability development growth test procedures and list all the tests to be conducted for the purpose of obtaining data for use in RDGT analysis and evaluation. The RDGT Procedures shall include the following: a. Test objectives and requirements of each reliability development growth test. b. Test item configuration description and quantity to be tested. c. Test conditions, environmental, operational and performance profiles, and the duty cycle. d. Reliability development / growth planning curve. e. Test schedule and milestones, including the test program review schedule. f. Test conduct ground rules, failure criteria, and interface boundaries. g. Test facility and equipment descriptions and requirements. h. Government Furnished Property requirement and impact. i. List of test reports to be issued. j. List of test procedures required.
