Two Students Arrested After Fight at Howard High School

(MACON, GA)-Today two students at Howard High School were arrested following a fight on campus. The fight involved six students. The altercation took place at the bus ramp during dismissal at approximately 3:00 pm. Campus Police were on scene and used pepper spray to break up the fight. Following the fight police asked a 14-year-old middle school alternative student, who had observed the fight to get on the bus. That student refused after being ordered multiple times and was placed in handcuffs. While the officer was arresting the 14-year-old a 15-year-old male student from Howard High School attempted to assault the officer and was arrested. The 14-year-old has been charged with misdemeanor obstruction of an officer and misdemeanor disruption of a public school. The 15-year-old was charged with felony disruption of an officer and misdemeanor disruption of a public school.
