Safety Context

Chances of loss measured in economic, severity or human injury terms. Risk can be viewed as a Hazard and/or an Exposure, where hazard is a physical or chemical condition or practice with the potential for causing harm. Exposure is a condition or practice of being unprotected from or being subjected to potential harm.

Risk Identification Context

Pure Risk

Risk means a chance of loss or no loss, but no gain (e.g. a fire or theft, loss).
