Setting up the DAServer User Account for Administrator Privileges

Introduction
There may be an occasion where you successfully install one of Wonderware's DAServers, but the DAServer will not show up in the System Management Console under your local pc. This happens because the account that the DAServer used during the install didn't have administrator privileges. The following steps will setup the DAServer account so that it has Administrator privileges.

Detailed Steps
1. Launch the Control Panel and select Add/Remove Programs (Figure 1 below):

Figure 1: Add/Remove Programs 2. 3. 4. Click Remove to uninstall the DAServer. Open up the DAServer Admin user utility located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\ArchestrA\ aaAdminUser.exe. Enter a User account and password with Administrative privileges (Figure 2 below):

Figure 2: Admin User Utility 5. 6. Click OK. Reboot the computer and re-install the DAServer. Your System Management Console should now look like the following figure (Figure 3 below):
