Code: 382 208 213. University Of Cundinamarca. There are many purposes of ICT in English teaching such as:

Creating opportunities to develop speaking and writing communication skills. To develop an understanding of respect for different cultures and societies. To materialize approaches multidisciplinary.

The concept of mutual understanding, understood broadly as possible, has become a common element of many projects within the teaching and learning of languages and teacher training. These projects, which often incarnate the production of multimedia or Internet platforms, seeking to meet the growing demands of language diversity within educational institutions in Colombia, and also as an understanding or approach to a universal language spoken as a whole as the English. But most important: How to work (or improve) this foreign language using the Web 2.0? Teachers and students have to remember that Web 2.0 encourages the mainly 4 skills:

Speaking. Writing. Listening. Reading.

For this reason it motivates learning with new contents, inviting to think critically and to collaborate by using the context for a new use within real context, or, to use the new technologies regarding the production and construction of new knowledge by utilizing the pedagogical potential that this technology assumes a sensitization and preparation of teachers. 21st century students (and teachers) need things that they can learn and teach in front of a computer within 30 minutes or less. All of this due to the new advancements of technologies is just a matter of time that the whole classroom would be all systemized.
