Chat Cheating Claims in Ring Games

1.0 Purpose:

This document establishes how to investigate players who claim they are colluding through their chat.

4.0 Policy:

1) Once you have paused an account for collusion, make sure you have resolved the case within 72 HOURS. Any account trapping, reimbursements, and emailing are to be completed within 72 hours of pausing the account. 1) If an Email Agent has not done so, send the complainer ir.collusion. 2) Create a folder for the case on your U:\ drive. 3) Take ownership of the case by filling out the appropriate information on Case Assignments.xls in [S:\COLLUSION TEAM]. 4) Find the player in WAT and review their chat as per 3.3.4.1 Chat Abuse. a) If nothing is found send the complainer chat.com.nothing and fill out the Result/Response column in Case Assignments.xls. b) If the chat is found pause the offenders account and send them kana template. c) Notate the offenders account in the Notes and Alerts section with: Player _____ account has temporarily
been paused pending investigation for collusion. The account is to remain paused until the investigation is complete. Please do not process any transaction to and from this account.

5.0 Procedure:

5) Run a Know100 on the offenders accounts.

Tiltproof Incorporated a) Look for any live hands played by the offender where a large sum of money was transferred during play. 6) Issue the complainer col.1D, open their account and close the case by filling out the Result/Response column in Case Assignments.xls if there are no suspicious hands. 7) Email the complainer col.notfound and fill out the Result/Response column in Case Assignments.xls if there are no suspicious hands. 8) Pause all suspicious accounts if collusion is suspected, move onto <Collusion Live Cash Game Cases> noting that some of the steps will already have been completed in this procedure.
