1 GENERAL This drafting standard describes the general measures established for the standa rdisation and preparation of drawings. All drawings for Poso-2 Hydropower Project shall be drafted in conformity with t his drafting standard. 10.2 DRAFTING STANDARDS 10.2.1 Notations Notations used in this standard are as follows: Dimension and line thickness is in millimetres unless indicated otherwise. Char acter size is in point. indicates dimension. indicates line thickness. indicates character s ize, bold style, italic style, and underline. indicates charac ter height and line thickness in millimetres. All dimensions and thickness indicated are for A1 paper printing. 10.2.2 Sheet Size and Layout A1 size sheet of 594 mm 841 mm shall be used for the design drawings. Related ite ms shall be kept together on one sheet whenever possible. Drawing layout is as shown below. Figure 1 Sheet layout 10.2.3 Title Block Title blocks used for the design drawings are as shown on Appendix 1. 10.2.4 Scale Scale shall be varied in accordance with the purpose of the drawing. In case th at it is necessary to use more than one scale on a drawing, views with the same scale shall be grouped. The recommended drawing scales are: 1 : 5,000 1 : 4,000 1 : 2,000 1 : 1,000 1 : 500 1 : 400 1 : 300 1 : 200 1 : 100 1 : 50 1 : 30 1 : 20 1 : 10 1 : 5 1 : 2 A typical scale bar is shown bellow: Figure 2 Scale bar The appropriate scale bars shall be shown on the drawing, in accordance with the above symbols. Each view should be labelled with its appropriate scale. 10.2.5 Units Dimensions of all structures shall be expressed in metric millimetres with thous and separators unless otherwise specified. Angular dimensions shall be expresse d in degrees with minute and second fractions. All elevations shall be expresse d in metres with millimetre fraction. Slopes shall be expressed in ratio of 1 unit vertical to horizontal in two decim al places, like 1 : 2.00. Small slopes may be expressed in percent.
