this is

currently i study advertising at the pompeu fabra university in barcelona, spain.but this is not where my story begins... some time ago i was born 1980 in transylvania. i have studied filmmaking at the film academy for one year , then another year photo-video art at the academy of fine arts, both in bucharest.

meanwhile since 2001, i live and work in barcelona where i have made several non-budget z-movies. They might be considered very naughty, but they have a questionable artistical quality.

Tabalet has been my first successful venture into video-dance and the beginning of my collaboration with dancer/choreographer carme mart. my first short-dancefilm shot in hd in 2011 was ego, featuring dancer/choreographer elisa del pozo, intended as a fusion between dance and horror/ slasher/snuff genre. part of the official selection of the bccn film festival, ego has been presented in macba, the contemporary art museum of barcelona. presently my latest work is called sueos (Dreams). finished in 2012 it features dancer/choreographer carme marts briliant work. the dance-short-film explores the movement inside and outside the human body and the bodys interaction with the (natural and cinematographic) environment.

at the same time my upcoming project, called lynching (in preproduction) will unite my two muses, elisa del pozo and carme mart for a generational dance-duet.
