Transfer Monitoring Batch File Error and Warning Codes

This information is intended for the person in your organization who is responsible for working
with NSLDS. Please forward this update to the appropriate person.

This technical update is being distributed to update and revise the Transfer
Monitoring Process Batch File Specifications Error and Warning Codes published
June 2001.

The following are the new or revised error and warning codes, which include the Field Number,
Error/Warning Code, and Description for each code:

Number
206 014 Enrollment Begin Date is less than current date minus 90 days.
207 023 Enrollment Begin Date is current or future date and Monitor Begin Date is
greater than Enrollment Begin Date.
207 024 Monitor Begin Date is greater than current date minus 18 months (548
days).

Field Warning Code Description

Number
207 704 Enrollment Begin Date is a past date; Monitor Begin Date changed to
current date.
