    We believe that all ethnic nationalities can live in peaceful co-existence in the Burma of the future. That would not be possible until Burma becomes a federal union where equal rights and selfdetermination rights are guaranteed for all the ethnic nationalities. Therefore, we urge you, a Nobel Peace Laureate and a champion of human rights, to please continue to speak loudly about the basic human rights of ethnic people of Burma, including the teaching of ethnic languages in government schools, and convening the second Panglong conference for resolving a six decades long ethnic conflict in the country.
