GUIDELINES FOR PROJECT REPORT

Jagannath International Management School Guidelines for the Mentor A weekly report has to be submitted related to the activity being carried out about the project. Guidelines for the Student The internal 50 marks distribution is on the basis of the weekly report submitted.
Guidelines For Typing NUMBER OF PAGES: o Maximum 100 pages TYPING INSTRUCTIONS: o Border Indents Top, Bottom & Right 1 Inch.. Left 1.5 Inch.

o Page Numbering Bottom centered o Font Type Arial o Font Color Black only o Font size Uniform & Consistent throughout the report Chapter Heading 16 (Bold) Titles 14 (Bold) Normal Text 12 (Regular)

o Line Spacing 1.5 o Graphical Presentation Color/Black & White o Graphical Number Each and every Table / Exhibit / Figure must be assigned its reference number. E.g. Table 1.1, Fig 1.1, etc. PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS:

PROJECT REPORT PROFORMA FOR BBA STUDENTS Aim and Objectives of the Project Work The project is an activity assigned to each student to identify a problem at the firm level/industry level and undertake a research study, through a systematic research methodology. The students have to analyze the data using appropriate techniques and draw-up conclusion and recommendations. Guidelines for the Project Report Submission: The topic cannot be changed Highlighted topics in content page are mandatory in all projects. 1. Appendices Bibliography The main headings are numbered serially. The subheadings are indented two spaces to the right under the concerned main headings. Page number starts from the introduction chapter. List of tables & figures Separate pages for tables and figures should follow the table of contents. Sometimes both tables and figures are given together in the same page itself. Figures refer to maps, drawings, graphs, charts, diagrams and photographs. The full titles of the tables and figures, worded exactly as they appear in the text, are presented with corresponding/consecutive numbers and page location. S.no 4. The Reference Matter


Appendix An appendix is used for additional or supplementary materials, which has not found place in the main text. The materials that can be included here are original interview schedules/questionnaire, copies of covering letters used, documents and long explanatory notes to the text, statistical tests used and tables referred and any other material of considerable reference value. Bibliography The books, journals, reports and other sources of secondary data according to alphabetical order of last name (surname) of the author are to be listed in the format given below: Book Dessler, Gary and Varkkey, Biju. Human Resource Management. Prehtice Hall, New Delhi, 2009. Articles Nirmala Banerjee, Trends in Womens Employment, Economic and Political Weekly, Vol. 4(2):1989, pp. 1022. Students are advised to write the reference as stated above.

Instructions
1. Front page of hard bound should be as on next page. 2. Hard bound should be done only after getting approval of project by the respective
allocated mentor. (Hard bound must be Black only) 3. A presentation of atleast 10 slides and not more than 15 slides is to be prepared which has to be given at the time of Viva. 4. 5. The internal mentor is required to mark the students out of 50 marks. List to be submitted
to project co-coordinators and to be submitted in electronic format( Feel free to contact incase of any queries related to Marking Scheme).

6. List of non reported students should be given to the Coordinator


7. Each mentor has to submit the weekly report to project coordinators
