Have Your Say Willoughby City Strategy Community Forums
Willoughby City Council wants to know whats important to you in the local community, so it can refine the Willoughby City Strategy. The Willoughby City Strategy is a long-term vision and plan for the future of the City to help guide decision making and planning for the next 15 years. It underpins everything council does. As the plan is based on community visions, values and aspirations, council will hold two forums where locals can have their say on community needs in an open-ended discussion: 10am-12pm, Tuesday 23 October - Council Chambers, 31 Victor Street, Chatswood 6pm-8pm, Wednesday 24 October - Council Chambers, 31 Victor Street, Chatswood People from across the community will be asked to talk about their preferred vision for the future - what they would like this area to look and feel like in 15 years. Council is really interested in the views of the entire community and would like to hear lots of different perspectives. I encourage everyone to attend these forums and have your voice heard, said Willoughby Mayor, Pat Reilly. This is a great time to participate and have your say in Willoughbys future, as we have a new, recently elected council for the next four years. We need your help in ensuring council makes an already great Willoughby even better, Mayor Reilly added. To register for the Community Forums, email citystrategy@willoughby.nsw.gov.au or phone 9777 7672. You can also register online. For more information, visit councils website and go to Have Your Say.
