ANNUAL REPORT OF THE DRAMATICS SOCIETY OF SYDENHAM COLLEGE OF COMMERCE AND ECONOMICS 2011-20012

Slow and Steady wins the Race has been the mantra of success for the Dramatics Society popularly known as DS. Under the guidance of Prof. S Khan and Prof. Jharna Karla, the society has developed drastically in these years. Dsites has worked as a family and has revolutionized the face of theatre and art in college. It wouldnt be a statement of exaggeration to say that, academic year 2011-12 was one of the most exciting year in the history of the society, where DS achieved many awards and recognitions. May it be qualifying for the 2nd round of INT after 12 years or cementing its name in IPTA, DS did it all. They represented Sydenham college at National level in Channel Vs India festival which was held at Goa, but this was not enough to put icing on the cake, this bunch of talented people organized MURANJAN11 which is an inter-collegiate festival organized and managed by Dsites in memory of our Ex-Principal late Dr Shri S K Muranjan. MURANJAN11 was the most happening festival in 2011-12 which had a participation of over 30 colleges including 2 outstation colleges. It was the only festival which showered cash prizes on the winners. Dsites have always tried to follow the inspirational quote by legendary Steve Jobs Stay Hungry, Stay foolish

The previous wins have made us hungrier but still we are the same old foolish nautanki Dsites. The voyage was not an easy one, but with sheer determination we made it possible, after all we are SYDENHAMITES Toh Ek Sath Milke Bolo.. Sydenhamites Sydnhamites we are dynamites.
