SMC TO HOST INFORMATIONAL SESSION FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS SEEKING MORE INFORMATION ABOUT NEW SENIOR CARE FACILITY
Watertown, New York ----- Samaritan Medical Center will be hosting an informational forum to update community members about the progress of the new senior care facility, as well as overall planning for future long-term care services at Samaritan. Highlighted during this forum will be an overview of the new Samaritan Summit Village, a 288-bed skilled nursing and assisted living facility, which is expected to open in early 2013. Speakers include Mr. Anthony Joseph, Vice President for Long-Term Care, and Mr. Paul Vandermill, Director of Resident Services at Samaritan Keep Home. We have had numerous inquiries about the project, different levels of care that will be available and how to apply for admission, states Anthony Joseph. This forum will provide information to those who inquired, as well as family members of current residents at Samaritan Keep Home, Mercy and Whispering Pines. The community forum will be held on Thursday, September 27th at 7 p.m. at the Samaritan Keep Home Turner Room, 133 Pratt Street, Watertown.
