    The tiara is placed over the eyes to give mystery.

    This also shows that the characters face doesnt need to be shown because all the stars are already given away through the written text. This prop exaggerates that the film is based around a prom. The release date is written in pink which is unusual considering all the other dark colours. Pink isnt an obvious choice for a horror poster and thats what makes this main poster different.

    The colours in this poster are mainly made up of dark blues. The brighter colours are the red of the title and the whiteness of the teeth. The catch line A night to die for is clever because it has a double meaning. Prom is a night that teenagers die of excitement. It also means that they will literally die at prom. Main Posters include the entire cast, the stars and distributors. These posters tell the audience all the people involved and this is their way of interesting the viewers.
