Beauty in things exists in the mind which contemplates them. what the quote really means is that if you think something is beautiful beauty is really in the mind. David Hume was an important figure in philosophy because he was one of the most important philosopher to write in English. Some of his nicknames where essayist and historian. He thought different than everyone else he found things other people didnt.

He was born April 26,1711 Edinburgh Scotland He was raised by his uncle because

mother passed. He went to collage at the university of Edinburgh in Scotland. A significant event that impacted my person was when they made a institute after him and called best philosopher ever to write in English.

his

his uncle inspired him. his carrier started by him going to Edinburgh collage. he was famous for his writing he was named best writer ever to write in English. that he got confidence because of his new nick name. he had to overcome his parents death.

A big accomplishment for David Hume was when he wrote his first book A Treatise of Human Nature in 1745. Another book he wrote was Enquiries Concerning human understanding in 1752. He was mostly famous for his books. A couple problems he had was when he was making his first book he was stuck for weeks maybe a month, he could not think of a idea to put in his book so he had to find a insperation.

think he impacted the world by giving younger kids a opportunity to learn more. They would study at his institute I think it was cool to build it. He impacted people to build it for him.

He

big Idea was to write a book series about humans and how they act. I think that was a great idea to do.

lesson I learned from David Hume is that you never want to give up on your dream no mater how hard it is. Like how his mom died he was stuck forever then he got his inspiration and wrote like 5 books now that is impressive.
