To be Responsible for all administrative and technical activities for effective implementation of NMEP To get acquainted with all difficulties and problems regarding insecticide, sprays, and surveillance operations in PHC area and to take necessary corrective measures immediately. To train and guide the field and other staff on all treatment schedule such as presumptive treatment, and radical treatment and all smear positive patients. To learn management and treatment of CEREBRAL MALARIA To investigate all OUTBREAKS of malaria i.e.>two cases in a day or one place/village. To check lab work for diagnosis, ensure that prescribed %of slides are sent to designated authority for crosscheck. To supervise maintenance of slides,antimalarial drugs etc.,F.U.

To ensure strict surveillance. To help improve of sanitary conditions in affected area. To investigate and act properly in case of OUTBREAK of an epidemic in PHC area. To maintain accurate and UPDATED DATA on morbidity and mortality data on all communicable diseases in PHC area .

To provide Leadership to his team ,staff , and people. To supervise and direct the work of all staff working under him. To maintain up-to-date inventory and stock registers of all stores ,equipments, drugs etc. To prepare indent for supply of drugs and instruments, chemicals ,lab accessories . To plan and periodically scrutinize the work of staff and suggest changes to improve and suit the priority of their work. To get prepared and display MAPS and CHARTS in his office very clearly of ;- Geographical area of PHC with adequate land marks and other health facilities and NGO, LABS, Help Groups. Locations of Sub.Centres with performance indicators of various health and family welfare programs. Morbidity and mortality records of last two years and current year.

To conduct regular meetings of staff to review and evaluate their progress in work . To take necessary steps for further improvement in coverage ,quality ,and effectiveness . To maintain personal diary for visits and routine work. To discharge all financial duties entrusted to him. To ensure maintenance of proper registers and records :- accurate, up-to-date, rational, for check, crosscheck and utilization
