TASK: Look at 3 or 4 magazine front covers, contents or double page spreads and look at the representations of Music Magazines. Remember this is NOT just the images of artists but the fonts, colours and language used in magazines. Representation the way that someone is shown/portrayed in a magazine Think about genre and how the representation of artists need to match the genre and the codes and conventions that go with it. Remember this is NOT an essay but a way for you to research the representation of artists. This is an EVALUATION question so use this to help you develop your knowledge of representation.

    GRADING: A/A* - the research and presentation will be excellent. Terminology will be used extensively. Representation must be studied in depth with terminology used extensively. B/C the research and presentation will be good. Terminology will be used. Representation will be discussed and mentioned in all the research. D The research and video will be proficient. It will be complete but the detail may be limited.

    E Work will be complete. Attempts will be made to complete the work and some magazine representational discussions will be evident.
