WHAT IS APA AND MLA TYPE????


There many differences and similarities between the APA and MLA. The writers would use to create papers, guidelines to writing, punctuation, quotation and sources. MLA stands for Modern Language Association, and would typically be used by a Biology student; while, APA stands for American Psychological Association and would be used by a Psychology student (Boricua, 2007).

Similarities between APA and MLA style..


Both styles provide a guideline for the format and layout of a paper. All of the margins with both styles are 1 inch. Both of these styles of paper are double spaced. They both include name, professor's name, date, and their class. They both have page numbers in each page of their papers. Both include works cited pages and similar structure of always providing source information, no matter what the citation is.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN APA AND MLA..


APA APA has its own cover page for those things. has it own references page APA's citation has the year the article was made page numbers include the title of the paper. Has abstract page MLA puts the name, professor name, date, and class in the first page has a works cited page MLA's citation has the last name of the author page numbers include the writer's last name Doesnt has abstract page
