MODEL IN THE FIELD

Victoria Hale worked for the FDA in the 90s and witnessed how many promising new medicines were abandoned when they had powerful potential to counter global infectious diseases. She had a turning point VICTORIA HALE when she questioned, Why in our world in the 21st century were there people who had medicines for any, any disease, any complaint! And in other parts of the world, 5,000, 10,000 miles away, babies die of dehydrating diarrhea. Shortly after, she founded two nonprofits, One World Health and Medicines360 to close the gap between urgently needed medicine and pharmaceutical opportunities. Their focus lays in health inequity issues of women and children, such as contraception and orphan diseases. They have reached many milestones for global health, developing affordable medicines for black fever, diarrheal diseases, and malaria.
