June 20, 2012 Dear Sir/Madame: This letter serves as my cover letter for the position of preschool teacher in a public or private school system preferably in New Zealand or Canada. I have completed my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology in the University of Nueva Caceres and I took up 18 units of Early Childhood Education at Ateneo de Naga University College of Education. (and I will be available for employment on June 2008 since as of this moment I am pregnant(3 months). The preschool teacher jobs I had at Ateneo de Naga University Child Learning Center for three years and at St. Alphonsus Learning Center for two years, my homeschool for 2 years, reading & writing summer class 2006 and my summer arts class 2007 as well as being the resource speaker on curriculum planning have afforded me the opportunity to: * develop lesson plans using the Integrated Core Curriculum * enhance my creativity and imagination in conceptualizing Multiple Intelligence-based lesson plans for children * discovered effective classroom management approaches for preschoolers and conduct parentteacher conferences. Through my teaching job, I have had the opportunity to organize big conventions of preschool teachers, to serve as resource speaker, and to teach/train college students about early childhood education. Similarly, I had the chance to lead small and large group activities, helping with lunches and snacks, and coordinating school activities for children and their parents. These experiences provided me with extensive exposure to the implementation of developmentally appropriate activities and materials enriched with Multiple Intelligence and Integrated Core Curriculum.
