LOOKING FOR A VICE PRESIDENT (INTERNAL)


The Carleton Science Student Society is looking for a Vice President (Internal) to work closely with the Executive Committee on small projects over the year to help promote the Society, and events and activities. This is a volunteer position. Specific Responsibilities include: during the absence or disability of the President, perform the duties and exercise the powers of the President, make provisions to obtain the names of present Members of the Society, oversee the working of the different committees of the Society, and coordinate the activities of those committees, wherein otherwise unspecified, be a non-voting member ex officio of all boards and committees of the Socity, give notice of all Meetings of the Members, give notice of all Council Meetings, other duties as prescribed by the Executive Committee and Society Council.

The Ideal Candidate will be: An undergraduate Carleton Student enrolled in a program in the Faculty of Science, A self-motivated individual, capable of taking the initiative and completing a task with little direct supervision, An individual capable of performing volunteer work equalling about 2-6 hours of work per week during the School Year.

Dont fret: this is simply an informal exercise for us to become acquainted with you!
