s, Harrison Bergeron is based in the future of a world of equality. People are controlled by three new amendments which allows for everyone to be the same. These rules were controlled by the United States Handicapper General. If someone was too intelligent they installed a hearing device that sent high pitch sound to the brain every twenty seconds. If someone was beautiful they had to wear a mask to hide their beauty. George and Hazel have their son taken from them because he was athletic and a genius. Their son Harrison escapes from the jail and tries to overturn the government by removing the devices that were placed on him. All this happens while George and Hazel are battling with their devices and cant seem to remember a whole lot.
