    NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS WEARING OF IDENTITY CARDS


    12th October, 2012 Dear Students,

    We, at Amity University, have been striving to provide the students a secure Campus. Our respected Founder President is very concerned for your safety and security. The security system in the Campus relies on your wearing your Identity Card at all times. This ensures that only authorized persons with valid identity cards enter the Campus. In order to ensure compliance of security requirements:

    WITH EFFECT FROM THURSDAY 18th OCTOBER, 2012, IT IS MANDATORY FOR ALL STUDENTS TO WEAR THEIR IDENTITY CARD AROUND THEIR NECK, AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE CAMPUS.

    If any student is not in possession of a valid Identity Card, he/she must obtain it as per the laid down procedure* before 18th October, 2012.

    From 18th October 2012, the Security staff at the gate, Proctors and Marshals on the Campus, will check your ID Card and if any student is not in possession of that or the ID Card is not displayed around the neck, then the student will be fined Rs100/- for every such default.

    Students who have lost their lanyards and card holders may approach Gate No.4 for a replacement of the same. A fine of Rs 100/ - will be levied for the same.

    STUDENTS SHOULD NOT PAY ANY FINE IN CASH, BUT ONLY SIGN THE DEBIT SLIP AT GATE NO. 4 OR AT GATE NO. 1 AFTER FILLING THE REQUIRED DETAILS.

    THE FINE AMOUNT WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE STUDENTS SECURITY DEPOSIT.

    Please Note: *Loss of ID Cards Students must ensure the safety of their ID cards. However, in case of loss of the ID Card the following procedure is to be adopted:a. Report stolen/lost/damaged ID Card to reception at Gate number 1 or 4 and get a card replacement slip made (replacement fee of Rs.500/- will be charged per instance and will be debited to your security deposit). b. Handover the replacement slip to ID card department at E1 Block Ground floor and you will be issued with a new ID card immediately. c. Your old card will be deactivated for entry/exit.
