Dear parents

We have started the year full of energy and ready to do our best day by day.

Lectura
We have already done with our reading number nine. We have done with: Bahia de tortugas, Las fotos salvajes son mi vida, and Balto, el perro que salv a Nome. We continue working hard in our stations, paying special attention to the verbs. Every month students are asked to read (at east) one book in Spanish and after that fill out a book report. If they read more than one book, they will get an extra credit. Every Friday we have a test of the weekly reading. Students can listen the readings from this blog: http://spanisholg.blogspot.com/

Social studies
We are going to present our projects about the Southwest region next week. After that we will do our final test and we will be ready for the next region: Southeast. We will study about history and geography as well, but we will not forget about the states that we already have learn. Some students are including the capital in our tests, so I encourage all my students to do it, or at least, try it.
