Residents and visitors south of the closure were advised to evacuate to designated shelters via the Convention Center or Northside Park. Delmarva Power preemptively turned off power in southern areas to protect equipment from the storm. Ongoing storm updates would be provided on websites, social media, TV, and by calling 410-289-8967.
