Communicating Gods Truth and Partnering With Others Who Do November 2012 Ministry Update

Dear Ministry Friends,

Thank you so much for praying for us and for the folks that we love dearly at Hickory Grove Baptist Church as we enter our last few days of serving as their pastor and we prepare to place our focus on the ministry that God is calling us to undertake. As you pray, could you please include these two upcoming events that we will be speaking at in the next few days We will be helping to coordinate and will be speaking at the Focus 12 Student Retreat at Ridgecrest Conference Center. This retreat will be November 2nd 4th. Along with speaking at the event, we also print all of the booklets used for the retreat, so please pray for those preparations as our house has turned in to a printing press for the week!

We will be speaking at a parent event at Browns Chapel Baptist Church in Pacolet, South Carolina, on November 10th. The event is called The Parent Discipleship EventEquipping and Encouraging Parents to Follow Jesus and Lead Their Families. Please pray that we will be able to help these parents do that very thing as we speak to them.

Thank you for continuing to invest in us and this ministry through your prayers, encouragement and resources. Please dont hesitate to let us know if theres anything we can do to serve you and your church, ministry or organization! We leave you this month with a great reminder from Hebrews 12:1-2, Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame and has sat down at the right hand of God's throne."
