Media Release Incident: Locations: Robbery (x3) 11/01/12 @ 2:30 pm - Express Mart, 3109 North Main Street, Kannapolis

11/01/12 @ 4:30 pm - Show Show, 251 North Cannon Boulevard, Kannapolis 11/01/12 @ 10:50 pm - Rushco #1, 604 North Cannon Boulevard, Kannapolis The Kannapolis Police Department is seeking assistance in locating the person(s) responsible for committing a series of robberies in the City of Kannapolis. On November 1, 2012, our agency responded to three separate robberies of businesses. The first robbery occurred at the Express Mart located at 3109 North Main Street at approximately 2:30 pm. At approximately 4:30 pm the Shoe Show located at 251 North Cannon Boulevard was robbed. A firearm was displayed in both of these robberies and an undisclosed amount of US Currency was taken. The suspect description and weapon displayed in both of these robberies were similar. He is described as a black male with short hair wearing dark clothing with some type of face paint. At approximately 10:50 pm the Rushco #1 located at 604 North Cannon Boulevard was robbed and an undisclosed amount of US Currency was taken. The suspect in this robbery was described as a white male in his 50s between 56 and 510, wearing a camouflage jacket, blue jeans and an orange hat. Our agency is still working to obtain surveillance footage of the suspect(s) in the first two robberies. The photos depicted below are of the suspect who committed the third robbery at 604 North Cannon Boulevard.

Kannapolis Police requests anyone with information regarding this incident or the suspects location to call 704-920-4000 or Crime Stoppers at 704-932-7463. A reward is available for anyone providing information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) in this case.
