Mission: Superstorm Sandy Relief Anaheim, CA As part of their ongoing community involvement program, a not-forprofit organization, G.I. Joe Search and Rescue The Joe Le Foundation, will be sending their volunteers to assist with the relief of Hurricane Sandy and hope to continue to provide support until normality is brought back to the people in the East Coast. The first ten volunteers will fly to the East Coast on December 6, 2012 to December 11, 2012. G.I. Joe is in contact with local municipals and is currently working on getting tasks assigned to the team and will deploy to areas where most support is needed. The team will assist in tasks such as clearing debris, medical aid, and emergency response. The Joes invites you to become a sponsor for their Mission: Superstorm Sandy Relief to help those who will not have a home for the holiday. The primary source of funding for Mission: Superstorm Sandy Relief is from corporate and individual sponsors, such as yourself. The mission receives no governmental funds. As you may be aware, G.I. Joe Search and Rescue has served 18 missions in 18 months, helping families locate their missing loved ones as well as educating the public on safety and survival techniques. The funds provided by our sponsors will be used for airfare, lodging and travel for a group of 10 volunteers, each time. We will continue to send groups of volunteers to assist with the relief if funds are available. Any un-used funds will go towards purchasing of blankets, personal hygiene and other necessities and will be distributed to the community affected by Hurricane Sandy. Real generosity toward the future lies in giving all to the present. - Albert Camus Your sponsorship will help assure the success of Mission: Superstorm Sandy Relief to provide relief assistant and offer hope to families whose home had been destroyed and is currently living in shelters. If we do not all work together to lend a hand, these people will spend their holiday in a shelter; cold and hungry. Donate and give hope.
