This professional development is an introductory exploration of the interconnections between the Common Core State Standards and the California Science Standards, in preparation for the full implementation of the Common Core State Standards. In addition, embedded in this Common Core professional development are instructional strategies that will address the needs of diverse learners (English Learners, Standard English Learners, Special Education Students, and Gifted/Talented students). Select the Class Offerings link. 4. Under Program, scroll down to Science. 5. In the Keyword field, type in FOSStering 6. Select the Search button. 7. Click on Enroll Now and enter the requested information. 8. If you complete this process successfully, an automatic confirmation e-mail will be delivered to your LAUSD email.
