1. The voltages measured across 3 resistors R1, R2 and R3 connected in series are 5V, 7V and 10V respectively. The supply current is 2A. Determine: a. The supply voltage, VS b. The total circuit resistance, RT c. The values of R1, R2 and R3 (Ans: Vs=22V, RT=11, R1=2.5 R2=3.5 R3=5)

2. For the circuit shown below, determine the value of VR1. If the total circuit resistance is 36, determine the supply current and the value of resistor R1, R2 and R3. Measured voltage for R2 and R3 is 5V and 3V.

3. 3 resistors of 1k, 15k and 4.7k are connected in parallel. If the total current is 12mA, find the current through each resistor.

4. Calculate the current flowing in the 30 resistor. What additional value of resistance has to be added in parallel with the 20 and 30 resistors to change the supply current to 8A?
