Drillmec S.p.A. manufactures a full range of hydraulic top drives. Drillmec HTD series top drives can be fitted to almost any rig in order to increase the performance and help in operations such as directional or horizontal drilling. Drillmec S.p.A. designs and manufactures a torque tube starting from drawings of the customer rig or from data collected by our technicians directly on the rig on field. The torque tube provide the connection between the new HTD top drive and the existing rig. The HTD top drive is supplied with an independent hydraulic power pack and controls and with a transportation cradle designed to hold it and prevent moving damages.

Main features: - Top drive body is made of electrically welded high resistance steel. - Drillmec S.p.A. Top Drives are totally hydraulic. - Central body with spring shock absorbers and cup spring to facilitate connections and avoid damages during this phase. - Mud standpipe and gaskets easily interchangeable. - Plug on the upper section in order to perform wireline jobs through Top Drive opening. - Complete with brakes on motors. - Double shock absorber system with airbags Main advantages: - Significative reduction of drilling time - More efficient control in directional drilling - Reduced reaming time - Friendly design to reduce maintenance cost and time - Control of mud circulation - Efficient joint make-up
