Before choosing any topic/ title you must answer these questions first:

Background - What is the project about? Problem Statement What is the issue to be solved?

Objective - What is the aim of your project?

Project Background: Gives historical background of the project of interest. Describing a problem (highlight problems of certain designs/methods) Problem Statement: A statement of a problem issue of the project that needs to be solved. Objective: The aim in order to solve the problem stated in the problem statement.

Informative and precise. Do-able. You are interested in. You can handle well in the given time frame. Avoid topics that are too broad or too narrow in scope. Ensure enough resources available.

Select precise and appropriate words to reflect your project. Make sure the keywords that represents your project is in the title. Avoid too lengthy title.

(Contains too little information to describe the precise nature of the project)

Weak Title: Title: Design and Construction of A Microprocessor Operated Prosthesis Capable of Two-degree Freedom and Lifting a Weight of 500grams.
(The title is too lengthy. The above contains too much information and readers may easily lose focus)

Good Title: Title: The Design of Prosthesis Forearm with Two-degree of Freedom.
(This title is better than the other two. It clearly indicates the specific area of research without being too lengthy)
