I have been, and still am, an avid sportsperson having participated in various i nter-house sporting events over the

years. I was a member of the school soccer t eam and hockey team, where I was Captain of Team for the latter. Adventure is my passion and I love challenges. I recently completed a 5-week exp edition in South India under Raleigh International and have also completed a bas ic mountaineering course with Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. I represented my school in two Round Square Conferences, the first one being the South Asia and the Gulf Region Senior Regional Conference (2010) held in The Br itish School, New Delhi and the more recent one being the International Round Sq uare Conference (2011) hosted by the Wellington College, UK. I was a senior correspondent for my school's weekly publication AVE, for six yea rs, having contributed in the fields of art and photography. I am a voracious r eader, usually enjoying more of non-fiction than fiction, having a keen interest in world history and prominent figures of the past. My ambition in life is to mould myself into a person who can make a difference, and leave my name behind in the worthy books of people yet to know me. I aim to pursue higher studies in the field of history and make a career out of it and on the sideline I have decided to appear for the Indian Civil Service Examinations , with a determined attitude. My school has played the most significant role in making me the person I am toda y. I have served the school as School Captain (2011-2012) and as a whole it was a great learning experience where I learnt of a strong, yet delicate relationshi p, between give and take.
