PR PR PROJE Project Description: C Title: IMPROVED Z-SOURCE INVERTER WITH REDUCED Z-SOURCE CAPACITOR
VOLTAGE STRESS AND SOFT-START CAPABILITY.

Description: The project deals with an improved Z-source inverter topology. Compared to the traditional Z-source inverter, it can reduce the Z-source capacitor voltage stress significantly to perform the same voltage boost, and has inherent limitation to inrush current at startup. A soft-start strategy is also proposed to suppress the inrush surge and the resonance of Z-source capacitors and inductors. Title: Study Project on BAGSSE BASED CO-GENERATION Description:
The technology to be employed for the Cogeneration Project will be based on conventional steam power cycle involving direct combustion of biomass (bagasse) in a boiler to raise steam, which is then expanded through a turbo alternator to generate electricity. Some of the steam generated will be used in the sugar plant processes and equipment.
