Summer is here and that means barbecue time!

This year, Robs Community BBQ took place on a lovely day at Dover Park.

With Premier Christy Clark, Hon. Mary McNeil, Hon. John Yap, and MLA Linda Reid at South Arm Community Centre releasing the Families First Agenda, the Family Affordability Plan. At a Chinese media roundtable with Premier Christy Clark, Minister of State for Multiculturalism John Yap, and MLA Richmond Lee. Representing the Province in Prince Rupert with Federal Minister Ed Fast, to sign a deal that provides government funding for a $90 million dollar road and railway utility corridor on Ridley Island, to strengthen the Northern Pacific Gateway, and create jobs in BC. The Steveston Salmon Festival Canada Day Parade has been a tradition in Richmond for 67 years! Robs Richmond Centre team has been a fixture in the parade for the last four years. I had the pleasure of being accompanied by a record number of volunteers this year. With Canada flags flying high, and cheerful volunteers handing out pins, tattoos and miniature flags, we celebrated Canada Day together. Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transportation

I had the pleasure of sharing this annual event with over 300 Neighbours who came out to have a bite to eat and share their ideas with me. Special thanks to all the volunteers that gave up their Saturday to help make the event such a great success.
