*Group Compositionthe selection of group members, deciding the size of the group. *Group Formationprocess of getting a group organized, start to function and move toward the attainment of goals. *Goal Formulationincludes both the client and worker for their involvement. *Program Mediaactivities done for achieving its goals. *Goal-related Activities- clearly specified and presented separately from other that will be undertaken with the group-in-session.

-all activities, worker intervention and group action which the group system directs toward the achievement of goals *Interventive roles of the social workerworker chooses helping approaches *Resources and services to be usedsocial worker must know what, where, and how they can be effective. *Problems and Constraints- affect the social workers work with the client. *Stance-presented by the worker; guiding the worker

*Regular evaluation-provides feedback and enables the progress in their efforts *Terminal evaluation follows implementation and is done to assess the outcome. *Systematic evaluation of the outcome of the efforts is important. *Done in 2 levelslevel of the individual member and level of the group as a whole. *Records as toolsupports verbal evaluation and proof for claims.

-final step in the helping process -done when the goals are achieved and no reason to expect more gains *Pre-terminationpreparation for the actual termination; the group is about to end. *Terminationrecognized ending; last actual session of the group. *Post-terminationplan for follow-up; periodic follow-up meetings could be arranged as long as it is necessary
